Bears fan who used Taser on Packers-fan wife slapped on wrist
Don't drink and use a Taser on your wife, folks.
Back in November, a Chicago Bears fan won a bet with his wife, a Green Bay Packers fan, and used a stun gun on her as part of the deal. The Bears might have won that "Monday Night Football" game, but for John Grant of Tinley Park, Ill., winning the bet ended up costing him money.
Grant pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct charges, and the 42-year-old was fined $250 during his Jan. 9 sentencing, according to the Chicago Tribune.
After the incident, Grant's wife called the police and said that she never gave her husband permission to Taser her, but after looking through video on her cell phone, they determined that she did give consent.
"Hell yeah it hurt," she said, according to the complaint.
