Published Nov. 13, 2013 12:00 a.m. ET

The Chiefs will have WR Dwayne Bowe for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos following his his arrest for speeding and possession of marijuana over the weekend.

"It is a legal matter and that's the way we'll handle it. Let it run its course there. Dwayne will play, he'll start," head coach Andy Reid said on Wednesday.

Bowe was pulled over for speeding Sunday in the Kansas City suburb of Riverside. Police said an officer smelled ''a strong odor of marijuana from inside of the vehicle.'' He was cited for speeding and possession of a controlled substance, police said.

Bowe posted $750 bond and faces a Dec. 18 court appearance.
