Report: Satele arrested in Hawaii

Published Mar. 18, 2012 1:00 a.m. ET

Former Oakland Raiders center Samson H. Satele was arrested in his home state of Hawaii early Saturday on disorderly conduct charges, the Honolulu Star-Advertiser reported.

Satele, who is seeking a new team in free agency, was released on $500 bail at 4:50am local time Saturday, less than an hour after being arrested at a shopping complex in the Aiea district of Honolulu, which houses late-night bars and restaurants.

The 27-year-old was set to appear in Honolulu's Ewa District Court on April 18 on account of the petty misdemeanor.

Satele started 15 games for the Raiders last season before becoming a free agent in the off-season.

It was his third year with the team after being traded from the Miami Dolphins, who had drafted him out of the University of Hawaii in 2007.
