TE Fred Davis meets with Bills again
Free agent tight end Fred Davis intends to continue weighing his options after meeting with the Buffalo Bills for a second time.
Davis visited the Bills' facility Thursday after dining with team officials last weekend. Though interested in Buffalo, Davis hasn't ruled out re-signing with Washington. He's scheduled to visit the New York Jets on Friday.
Davis has 155 catches for 1,973 yards and 12 touchdowns in five seasons with the Redskins.
He can afford to be patient because he's still not fully recovered from tearing his left Achilles tendon in October. Davis is confident he'll be ready for the start of this season.
The Bills have a need at tight end. Returning starter Scott Chandler's status is uncertain after he tore a ligament in his left knee in December.
