The Indianapolis Colts waived Baylor guard Robert Griffin and injured linebacker Scott Lutrus on Thursday.

Indy replaced those two by signing guard Danous Estenor and center Thomas Austin.

The 6-foot-3, 307-pound Estenor started 23 games at South Florida including 11 last year when the Bulls averaged 432.8 yards in total offense and led the Big East in fewest sacks allowed. Austin, at 6-4, 310, played in seven NFL games with Carolina and Houston. He originally signed with Minnesota in 2010 and spent most of that season on New England's practice squad.

Griffin was the New York Jets' sixth-round pick last year but did not make the team.

Lutrus missed all of last season after injuring his knee in Indy's preseason opener. He also injured a knee in practice Tuesday.
