JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) The Jacksonville Jaguars have been awarded third-year fullback Bradie Ewing off waivers from Atlanta.

A fifth-round draft pick in 2012, Ewing started two games in two years with the Falcons. He spent the entire 2012 season on injured reserve with a knee injury. He started the first two games last year before ending up on IR with a shoulder injury. He had two catches for 29 yards.

The 5-foot-11, 243-pound fullback will compete for a roster spot with Will Ta'ufo'ou, a third-year pro who beat out veteran Montell Owens last season.

Ewing was a four-year letterman at Wisconsin. He started 11 games with the Badgers, carrying the ball seven times for 33 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught 28 passes for 328 yards and two scores, and played on special teams.
