Jim Kelly's Easter message to fans: 'I will be back!'

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 8:09 p.m. ET

Former Buffalo Bills quarterback Jim Kelly took a break from cancer treatment to be with his family on Easter, and he took some time out to thank fans who have supported him in his fight.

Kelly posted a video message to his wife's Instagram page, surrounded by his children and Bills paraphernalia, and made a promise that he "will be back."

The caption on the post reads "#12 has a quick HOMECOMING message for #BUFFALO and our amazing fans! WE ARE SO BLESSED by your love and we thank God for you! Keep praying! The battle isn't over! But we are confident in the ONE who leads the charge! And we celebrate Him!! #prayersforJK"

Hear Kelly's message in the video below, with a hat tip to For The Win.
