Knicks fans troll Wes Welker at MSG for Super drop
Wes Welker said this week that he never thinks about the pass he dropped during the fourth quarter of the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl XLVI loss.
He might be the only one. Welker and two of his fellow Denver Broncos wide receivers, Eric Decker and Demaryius Thomas, sat courtside at Tuesday night’s Boston Celtics-New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden.
The three players were shown on the Jumbotron during a break in the action, and one Knicks fan sitting behind them — who presumably also supports the New York Giants — took the opportunity to mock Welker’s Super Bowl blunder in front of the entire arena.
The fan’s choking motions also could have applied to the Celtics, who were blown out 114-88 for their 15th loss in their last 17 games. Check it out in the video below.
