Oakland Raiders might be willing to cut Terrelle Pryor if they can't deal him

It looks like Terrelle Pryor’s day’s in Oakland might numbered.

The Raiders are planning to release Pryor on Monday if they are unable to facilitate a trade for him, FOX Sports 1 Insider Alex Marvez reports.

Pryor appeared in 11 games last season, passing for 1,798 yards and seven touchdowns. He also ran 83 times for 576 yards and two scores, including a dynamic 93-yard run against the Steelers.

That touchdown run was the longest ever for a quarterback, but the Raiders acquired QB Matt Schaub from the Texans this offseason. Matt McGloin, who played in seven games and threw for 1,547 yards and as many touchdowns (eight) as interceptions, is also on the roster.

With the Raiders picking fifth in next month’s draft, Oakland may be looking to clear out a roster spot for a rookie quarterback.
