One is enough: Dolphins reportedly ready to deal Dion Jordan, Mike Wallace
Less than a year after drafting defensive end Dion Jordan third overall, the Miami Dolphins are already looking to deal him.
The Dolphins have opened discussions with teams and begun "gauging trade value" for the Oregon product, a league source told Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports. Jordan's style of play was a less-than-perfect fit for the Dolphins' defensive scheme, and he finished the season with just 26 tackles and two sacks despite playing in all 16 games. He also reportedly did not gel with the coaching staff, and the general manager who traded up to draft him, Jeff Ireland, is no longer with the team.
La Canfora also reported Friday, citing "numerous league sources," that the Dolphins are also open to trading wide receiver Mike Wallace and defensive end Cameron Wake. Wake has spent his entire six-year career in Miami while Wallace, who ranked second on the team in catches and receiving yards in 2013, signed with the Dolphins as a free agent last offseason.
