Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson will be ruled inactive for Sunday's visit by the Arizona Cardinals after missing a team meeting Saturday, the Philadelphia Daily News reported, citing a team source.
What caused him to skip the meeting was not reported, but the source denied the Eagles were sitting Jackson (Sunday) because of his ongoing contract dispute.
Jackson, 24, has long been upset over not being handed an improved contract, missing the first week of training camp to protest a second year without a new deal.
He is currently in the final season of his four-year rookie contract, worth around $600,000 a year.

Steve Smith was likely to step in for Jackson on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.
