Steelers wideout Brown leaves Roc Nation for Rosenhaus Sports
Many NFL agents were concerned their clients would leave them for Jay Z's Roc Nation Sports, yet apparently it goes both ways.
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has left the hip-hop mogul's firm only two months after joining it and plans to rehire Rosenhaus Sports for contract and marketing representation, sources told FOX Sports.
Brown is believed to be the first NFL client to fire Roc Nation since the firm joined the NFL ranks a little more than a year ago. Roc Nation's first NFL client was New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, who signed on for marketing purposes. New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith hired Roc Nation to handle both his marketing and his football contract.
Per NFL Players Association rules, Brown must wait five business days before hiring Rosenhaus Sports, which negotiated his five-year, $42.5 million contract extension in 2012.
