Locker will start against Dolphins
Jake Locker will start for the Tennessee Titans on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins - the young quarterback's first game in more than a month.
Titans coach Mike Munchak said Friday that Locker looks good and is ready to go unless something comes up between now and kickoff.
''He moved around well, his reactions were good, just things you look for to see if someone is limited in any way where we felt that he wouldn't be able to play at the level he needs to physically,'' Munchak said.
''We didn't see any of that. ... So all the things you want to see, I think the best you can in practice, we saw it. There is no reason to think he can't play at a high level on Sunday.''
Locker separated his left, non-throwing shoulder for the second time in four games Sept. 30 against Houston. The second-year player was cleared for contact earlier in the week and practiced the past three days with the first-team offense.
The Titans (3-6) listed Locker as probable on the injury report, along with receivers Kenny Britt (knee), Kendall Wright (elbow) and Nate Washington, a late addition after an illness limited his practice time Friday.
Linebackers Patrick Bailey (ribs) and Colin McCarthy (right ankle), receiver Kendall Wright (elbow), cornerback Tommie Campbell (left ankle) and offensive tackle Byron Stingily (back) are all questionable.
Linebacker Xavier Adibi (knee) and safety Al Afalava (ankle) are out.
