T.O. amused by profane Twitter war

Terrell Owens said he had no idea that Brandon McDonald was a Cleveland Browns cornerback.
He does now.
On his Twitter account, McDonald posted an obscenity-filled message about Owens 12 days ago after the wide receiver had agreed to contract terms with the Cincinnati Bengals.
The post reads: "TO to da Bengals huh??? Yessss, another piece of p**** fa da Browns secondary to (slang term referring to either group sex or gang rape) ... Let's Goooo!!!! ITS TRU"
While not relayed the exact message, a reporter asked Owens on Sunday morning whether he had heard about the trash-talking tweet McDonald had sent. Owens initially responded "Who?" before adding "I don't even know who he is. Is he Ronald McDonald?"
"I really don't care if he has something to say," said Owens, who will face McDonald in Cleveland in Week 4 of the regular season. "Obviously, you have to back it up. I'm not afraid of competition, a challenge or whatever. We play the Browns so he'll see us ... I'm not worried about it."
Entering his fourth NFL season, McDonald started 10 of 16 games in 2009 for the Browns. One of those starts came against Buffalo when Owens was playing for the Buffalo Bills. Owens caught four passes for 44 yards in a 6-3 Bills loss. Owens also played for Dallas against the Browns with McDonald as a starter in 2008. Owens caught five passes for 87 yards with one touchdown in a 28-10 Cowboys win.
McDonald's account is verified with Twitter and filled with re-posts and messages from Browns teammates. Most teams warn NFL players about the use of Twitter and what should be posted in a public setting. New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie was fined $2,500 last year when playing for San Diego because he complained about the team's "nasty food" during training camp.
A Browns spokesman declined comment on McDonald's tweet. McDonald wasn't immediately available for comment Sunday through agent J.R. Rickert.
