NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans and defensive tackle Antonio Johnson have agreed on a multiyear contract.

The Titans announced the deal Wednesday. Terms and length of the deal weren't disclosed.

Johnson, 29, recorded 35 tackles and a career-high three sacks for the Titans last season while playing all 16 games and making six starts.

The Titans drafted Johnson in the fifth round out of Mississippi State in 2007. The 6-foot-3, 328-pound Johnson spent the entire 2007 season on injured reserve and then played for the Indianapolis Colts from 2008-12. He rejoined the Titans last season.
