EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) The Minnesota Vikings have signed wide receiver Josh Cooper.

The move was made Friday. To make room for Cooper on the roster, wide receiver Lestar Jean was waived.

Cooper spent the last two years with Cleveland after signing with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State. Cooper appeared in 11 games, totaling 17 receptions and 166 yards. Last season, he caught eight passes for 106 yards and played for offensive coordinator Norv Turner, who was hired this year for the same role with the Vikings.

The Vikings will wrap up their offseason program next week with the three-day mandatory minicamp at Winter Park.
