News: Packers | Team could be biggest stumbling block if Favre wants to return
Impact: Mike Vandermause, of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, reports if retired QB Brett Favre truly does want to return the biggest stumbling block may be the Green Bay Packers. Team officials don't want to see the development of QB Aaron Rodgers stunted and are confident Rodgers is their quarterback for the upcoming year. Since Favre announced his retirement, head coach Mike McCarthy has spent the offseason preparing the offense with Rodgers in mind. While the Packers could adjust should Favre return - which appears to simply be a rumor at this point - it does not appear to be a prospect that provides much enthusiasm.   (KFFL - Jul 03, 2008)
