They did say they would not have all the changes complete until the 7th and to expect all the posts after the 3rd to be cleared. I almost expect them to just wipe out all the posts and reset everything.

GOOD IDEA, NOW I DON'T HAVE TO GET UPSET WHEN I SEE DAWGMANROY ANYMORE!

Yeah and I hate them. BTW falcon fans. This is DAWGMANROY, but I just changed my name because it was getting old. And since we are starting on a clean slate with the boards, I figured I'd start on a clean slate with my name as well. Go Falcons!

Vebrand
6/24/2009
4:00 AM (report inappropriate content)

I will say looking over the schedule the games I consider crucial are the first 3. I can't call any of those easy games. The Dolfins are probably the biggest unknown as they had a good year last year also and could be building something good. We know what the Panthers bring and New England will be out to prove something this season. Getting through those games sets the table I do believe for the season. To me the NFC South is wide open. So it really depends on how the others play. Do I like Kefrun's 13-3 prediction? Sure I do because he is willing to throw the numbers out there. Not caught up in the hype but see no problem with setting goals/dreams. Will Atlanta win 13 games. History says it's unlikely but who knows. Honestly I will be happy with 9 wins because that will be back to back winning seasons.

NO I WOULD NEVER CALL DETROIT, OR SAINT LOUIS EASY, BETWEEN THOSE 2, WHAT DID THE GO [2-30]! THAT WILL BE VERY TOUGH, THE CHARGERS COULD GO ANY WAY IF L.T. IS IN THE HOSPITAL!

Im like Birdsquad, one game at a time. It might look good on paper, but we dont know how it will play out. Im not looking past the Lions in the preseason. The battles that Im worried about are the CB, S, and backup QB battles.

georgiaboy24
6/23/2009
8:24 AM (report inappropriate content)

You guys need to keep in mind that our organization has never had back-to-back winning seasons. I know this is a really good team, but keep in mind the questionable defense and wicked tough schedule. I've seen a lot of 8-8 predictions for this year. I'm very optimistic, but we need to be level-headed and not get caught up in the hype.

(As a dawg fan, I know how that can kill your team)

NOW YOU ARE TALKING, BUT I WAS THINKING MORE IN LINE OF 7-9! BUT THATS JUST ME!

RAZBACRAZBAC

I think the New England game in Foxboro is crucial. If we win that game heading into the bye week with a 3-0 record, then I like our chances. Even 2-1 would be great. The Dolphins and Panthers' games at home are crucial as well.

The main thing is to beat our division rivals. If we can do that and go 6-0 in the division, then that means we only need 4 wins outside of our division to get at least a shot at a satisfying record with 10-6.

Undefeated is a strech but if we can go into the bye week with a 3-0 record, I really dont see us losing anymore until possibly week 11 against the Giants. So the first 3 games is what I'm focused on right now.

Go Birds!

I agree with the 10-6 record for our team this year, but you gotta make room for the uncertain. We don't know what could happen this year. Who would be here and who would be out. Im hoping for the best, but my philosophy of one game at a time still applies.

I wouldn't expect Jerry to sign until somebody like Raji signs first to set the market..However the Falcons have always been good at getting rookies signed before camp

So with Adkins signed is it just Jerry and Moore left unsigned?
