News: Panthers head coach John Fox was non-committal regarding his plans for Delhomme and the team's quarterback situation for Sunday's game against the Cards, the Rock Hill Herald reports.
Impact: Delhomme threw three interceptions in a 20-9 loss to Buffalo on Sunday, despite connecting on 27-of-44 passes for 325 yards. Unfortunately for Delhomme, he didn't connect for any scoring strikes through the air and his turnovers were ultimately the dagger in a very winnable home game in Week 7. Impact: While 139 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown is productive, many thought Williams would go insane this week against the Bills' soft run defense. Carolina played from behind all day, however, so they were forced to air it out (Jake Delhomme had 44 pass attempts) and scrap the running game to a certain degree.
