News: Tannehill has been working on his deep ball this offseason, according to the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero.
Impact: Tannehill had an up-and-down sophomore season, but his biggest problem could have been his inability to connect with speedster Mike Wallace on long bombs. The duo hasn't worked out together yet, but that's suppose to change in the near future. It would seem imperative for both the team, Tannehill, and Wallace that they all get on the same page.

News: Gibson (knee), who has been doing light jogging as he recovers from a torn patella tendon, said that he will definitely be ready to play by Week 1, the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero reports.
Impact: Having suffered the injury in October, Gibson will likely be ready by Week 1, but he still shouldn't be taken at his word. It sounds as if he still has a ways to go in the recovery process, and Week 1 is less than five months away. Health permitting, Gibson figures to serve as Miami's No. 3 receiver, a role he took kindly to before the injury last season.

News: Williams has signed an $800,000, one-year contract with the Miami Dolphins after spending the past four years with the Tennessee Titans.
Impact: The addition of Williams on Friday provides more depth for the Dolphins at receiver, where Brian Hartline, Brandon Gibson and Armon Binns are coming off knee injuries. Williams played in 54 games for the Titans, including 17 as a starter. He has 106 career catches for 1,313 yards and five touchdowns, and has experience as a punt and kick returner. Last year Williams made 15 catches for 178 yards. He was a third-round pick by the Titans in 2010.

News: Williams signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins, Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post reports.
Impact: Williams spent his first four seasons in the league with the Titans, where his position on the depth chart limited his effectiveness over the 2013 season. There's potential here however, as Williams racked up 45 receptions for 592 yards and five touchdowns in the 2011 season. The Dolphins are faily crowded at the wide receiver position though, so Williams will have to carve out a role for himself during camp.

News: Some believe this could be a make or break season for Tannehill, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
Impact: Tannehill is 15-17 as a starting quarterback and hasn't been fully convincing to this point, but he improved his completion percentage from 58.3 to 60.4 and touchdown-to-interception ratio from 12-to-13 to 24-to-17 in his first two seasons. He did that despite dealing with a poor offensive line and running game in 2013, both of which should improve in 2014.
