News: Celek (hip) will likely be limited when the Eagles begin OTAs in May, the Philadelphia Daily News reports.
Impact: Celek underwent surgery in January, but the recovery process should be completed by the time training camp arrives. Celek's availability for 2012 is not a concern.

News: Foles agreed to a four-year deal with the Eagles on Monday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Impact: Foles, a third round pick, will battle with Mike Kafka and Trent Edwards for a backup role to Michael Vick. Given the Eagles' investment, expect Foles to make the final roster ahead of at least one of those two quarterbacks.

News: McCoy and the Philadelphia Eagles agreed to a five-year contract extension that runs through 2017. The deal is for a reported $45 million, with $20.765 million guaranteed.
Impact: McCoy set franchise records in 2011 with 17 touchdowns rushing, and 20 total scores, while earning All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors. He also led the NFL with 102 first downs and 48 runs of 10-plus yards, while finishing as the league's fourth-leading rusher with 1,309 yards.

News: McCoy and the Eagles have agreed on a five-year, $45 million ($20.765 million guaranteed) contract extension, the Eagles' official Twitter account reports.
Impact: It should come as no surprise that the Eagles are buying into McCoy, who will just be 24 at the start of the coming season and rushed for 1,309 yards (4.79 per carry) and caught 48 balls out of the backfield for 315 more last season. He'll be one of the top few backs off the board next season and dynasty players shouldn't be afraid to commit to the McCoy just as the Eagles did -- he's in the prime of his career right now.

News: Peters ruptured his Achilles' tendon a second time recently and will certainly miss all of the 2012 season, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Impact: Peters' career is also in jeopardy. He suffered the setback when the Roll-A-Bout scooter he was using collapsed, and the tendon ruptured as a result of the fall. Peters initially ruptured the tendon March 27, so this is obviously a very serious obstacle as he attempts to get his career on track. Todd Herremans and Demetress Bell could be Philadelphia's long-term tackles.

News: Harris signed with the Eagles after going undrafted in the 2012 NFL Draft.
Impact: Harris was once a hyped player for Miami (FL), but he was plagued by poor decision making until his senior year, when he threw 20 touchdowns compared to nine interceptions. Although Harris is a decent athlete and showed some potential as a passer last year, he has a frail build (6-foot-3, 203 pounds) and it will likely take an injury to at least one of Mike Kafka or Nick Foles for him to have any shot of making the Philadelphia roster.
