News: Barkley and the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed on a four-year contract.
Impact: Barkley was selected in the fourth round of the NFL draft after a standout career at Southern California. The move announced Thursday leaves only one draft pick unsigned. Barkley rewrote the conference record book during a USC-record 47 starts over four seasons, becoming the Pac-12's leader in touchdown passes, yards passing, completions and total offense.

News: Peters (Achilles') was arrested early Wednesday morning in Monroe, Louisiana for drag racing and resisting a police officer, the Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Impact: An officer attempted to pull over Peters after he and another driver accelerated at excessive speeds at the change of a stoplight, but Peters ignored the officer's emergency lights and sped onward to a highway exit. He was later stopped at a shopping center and was handcuffed and shuttled to a nearby jail. Peters, a five-time Pro Bowler, missed all of last season with after tearing his Achilles' tendon on two occasions but had looked healthy during OTAs earlier this month.

News: Jackson has confirmed that Drew Rosenhaus is no longer his agent.
Impact: The Philadelphia Eagles' two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver says he hasn't decided on new representation, despite reports he's leaning toward Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports.

News: Phillips (knee) participated in practice Tuesday, CSN Philly reports.
Impact: Phillips was held out of drills as a precaution last week, but the issue with his knee appears to be a minor one now that he's back in action. However, any knee issue will remain a concern, after he missed nine games due to numerous knee injuries in 2012, including a sprained MCL.

News: Jackson (ankle) was able to practice Tuesday, CSN Philly reports.
Impact: Jackson did not take part in drills last Thursday due to an ankle injury, but it appears to be minor in nature, as he is back in action. Expect the wideout to bounce back from a disappointing season under the watchful eye of new head coach Chip Kelly.
