News: Floyd (neck) seems very optimistic about his chances to play in 2014, though he has not yet been medically cleared to return to 100 percent normal activity, the Chargers' Official Website reports.
Impact: Floyd will be back with his teammates for next week's voluntary workouts, but he will not be able to full participate in all activities. That being said, he sure sounds enthusiastic about the progress he's made saying, "I am more excited for this year than ever before... Now that I'm feeling normal, I feel myself getting into beast mode. I'm ready for the season to start."

News: Floyd, who continues to recover from a neck injury that he sustained this past September, is slated to participate in the Chargers' voluntary workouts, which begin April 22, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Impact: Floyd, who has been running and lifting of late, will be limited, however, and despite his progress, it remains unclear if he will be able to play this coming season. A decision that front will largely be based on the risk of re-injury and will no doubt be carefully weighed by Floyd and the Chargers' medical staff.
