News: Kaeding (torn ACL) is at full health as the 2012 season approaches, the North County Times reports.
Impact: Nick Novak only hit 79 percent of his field goals for the Chargers in 2011, but did have an impressive four field goals of over 50 yards in 2012. Kaeding will have to prove that he is the same player that he once was, but will likely get his job back. He has made 86.5 percent of his career field goal attempts and is about as reliable as they come in the regular season. The playoff however, have been an entirely different story, as Kaeding memorably missed all three of his attempts in a playoff game against the Jets during the 2009 season. Hubert Anyiam - #1 - Wide Receiver - 6'0" - 202lbs

News: Anyiam signed with the Panthers on Monday, the Charlotte Observer reports.
Impact: Anyiam has decent size but wasn't a prolific receiver at Oklahoma State and was cut by the Chargers last week. Despite the relatively weak wideout depth chart in Carolina, it would be a surprise if Anyiam made the team after training camp. Ryan Mathews - #24 - Running back - 6'0" - 218lbs

News: Mathews hopes that the first full offseason training program of his career will result in improved production in 2012, the Chargers' official website reports.
Impact: As a rookie, Mathews was limited in how much he could do with the team during the early parts of camp by rule, and in his second season, the lockout cancelled all organized team activities, so this will be the first normal offseason of his career. "Being able to be at our facility with our own stuff instead of having to find somewhere to work out, it's just a lot better for us," said Mathews. "It affected a lot of guys (last year)." Mathews had a solid season in 2011 and finished in the top 10 in the NFL in yards from scrimmage after rushing for 1,091 yards and catching 50 passes for another 455 yards, but he is looking to improve this year. "I have big plans for myself this year," Mathews said. "I want to be one of the best running backs in the league." Brandon Taylor - #28 - Safety - 5'11" - 209lbs

News: The Chargers have agreed to terms with Taylor, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Impact: The deal is reportedly for four years and means that the Bolts have now signed all seven of their draft picks. This is particularly good news because it means Taylor will not miss any time in camp. If all goes well in camp, he is expected to immediately push for a starting spot opposite Eric Weddle at strong safety. Kendall Reyes - #91 - Defensive End - 6'4" - 299lbs

News: The San Diego Chargers have signed draft picks Melvin Ingram, Kendall Reyes and David Molk to four-year contracts. Financial terms weren't immediately available.
Impact: Ingram, an outside linebacker from South Carolina, was San Diego's first-round pick and Reyes, a defensive end from Connecticut, was taken in the second round. Both are expected to upgrade San Diego's defense, which was the worst in the NFL at stopping opponents on third down. Molk, an All-American center from Michigan, was taken in the seventh round. David Molk - #60 - Center - 6'0" - 298lbs
