News: Bradford (ankle) believes the addition of a quarterbacks coach this year will make a big difference for him, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Impact: Bradford was forced to learn Josh McDaniels' offense last year with no offseason and no quarterbacks coach. This year, head coach Jeff Fisher has brought in Frank Cignetti, who spent last year as Rutgers' offensive coordinator, to coach up Bradford, something Bradford thinks will pay big dividends. "Coach Cig has been awesome," Bradford said. "He really knows what he's doing when it comes to coaching quarterbacks. He's all over fundamentals. Every day he points something out on tape, whether it be my drop, my arm angle, something like that. Whereas last year, not having that, I feel like I probably missed some things and probably got a little lazy. Having him here keeps me very sharp with all the little things, which is very nice." With a plethora of new receivers and having to learn his third offense in as many years, every little bit helps. We expect Bradford to bounce back in a big way in 2012, especially if his revamped O-line performs to its potential.

News: Bradford, who suffered an ankle injury back on Oct. 16 last year, acknowledges that he is still dealing with some lingering soreness, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. "It's getting there," Bradford said. "It seems to feel better every week. There's less soreness, more things I can do. I think it's definitely on the right track."
Impact: It's slightly concerning that his ankle is still tender this far removed from his original injury, but Bradford still has plenty of time to get up to speed, barring any setbacks. In the meantime, he has a new offense to absorb and chemistry to develop with a wideout corps that is both fluid and a work in progress.

Impact: Eldridge was deemed expendable by the Colts after they drafted two tight ends in April. He'll battle for a roster spot behind Lance Kendricks and Michael Hoomanawanui.

News: Alexander's (hamstring) odds of making the final roster will get slimmer by the day if injuries keep dogging him, according to ESPN's Tony Softli.
Impact: Alexander has had a history of knee injuries and last season was dogged by a hamstring injury and knee swelling that cost him six games. With the addition of Brian Quick and Chris Givens this year and Austin Pettis and Greg Salas last year, it would appear that Alexander is going to have to show and prove he can stay on the field or he'll likely get the axe, no matter how much potential he possesses.

News: Alexander is not participating in OTAs due to a strained hamstring, The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Impact: Alexander, who finished last season with 26 receptions for 431 yards and two touchdowns, remains near the bottom of the Rams' depth chart. With OTAs being "voluntary," St. Louis is likely just playing it safe by holding him out.

News: Richardson signed with the Rams on Tuesday, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Impact: Richardson started all 32 games at right tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs the last two seasons. While he struggled some, he still adds o-line depth to a club desperate for it, and should play heavily into the mix for the starting right tackle job with incumbent Jason Smith.

News: Haggan signed with the Rams on Tuesday, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Impact: Haggan is a good run defender and special teams player who will most likely be used on the strong side in St. Louis. He's 32 years old and likely on the downside of his career, but with as thin as their linebacking corps are right now the club had little choice, and frankly they could have done worse than a guy who started all 32 games the last two years for the Denver Broncos and was also their special teams captain.
