News: Stocker is expected to bid for serious playing time at tight end this coming season, the Associated Press reports.
Impact: Playing behind the now-traded Kellen Winslow, Stocker only had 12 receptions for 92 yards in 14 games played as a rookie fourth-round draft pick in 2011. Stocker is good blocker with good hands so even though the team picked up TE Dallas Clark via free agency, Stocker should see more action in 2012 and would probably start if the oft-injured Clark were to miss any game action.

News: Parker recently signed a one-year extension that includes a $540,000 salary for the 2012 season, a $1 million base salary for 2013, and a $50,000 signing bonus, the Tampa Tribune reports.
Impact: Parker, who signed with the Bucs in 2010 as an undrafted free agent, ranked fourth on the team with 40 receptions last season, but tied for 11th in the league in third-down receptions with 20. Parker also is currently the Bucs' primary kickoff and punt-return specialist. Parker is not too fantasy-relevant except in deep leagues at this point, but keep an eye on this talented youngster.

News: Ellingson signed with the Buccaneers on Tuesday, the team's official twitter page reports.
Impact: The receiver out of Florida International spent last year in the AFL playing for the New Orleans VooDoo, where he amassed 475 yards on 33 receptions in 10 games. Ellingson will push for a spot at wideout, but will be a long-shot to make the team.

News: Williams is looking to get better this offseason and impressed in OTAs, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Impact: While Williams matched his rookie production with 65 receptions in 2011, his yards per catch fell from 14.8 to 11.9, his touchdowns plummeted from a team-high 11 to three, and his eight dropped passes were third in the league. If Williams can recapture his 2010 form, he could actually post similar numbers to that season now that Vincent Jackson is on the team as the clear No.1 WR, drawing a lot of coverage away from Williams.

News: Clark has indeed signed with the Bucs as of Monday night, Howard Balzer reports.
Impact: Clark would presumably take over as the starting TE in Tampa once they dispatch of Kellen Winslow. He offers a similar good-hands but no-block type skillset as Winslow at a cheaper price with less drama. Though his durability has been an issue of late, Clark has a chance to carve out some fantasy value with the Bucs, though it's unrealistic to expect the sort of elite production that he enjoyed while teamed up with QB Peyton Manning in Indianapolis.

News: Clark is expected to sign with the Buccaneers as soon as Monday, NFL.com reports.
Impact: It's increasingly apparent that the Bucs are preparing to move on without Kellen Winslow and Clark is a serviceable replacement. His name recognition and past fantasy value have been tied to his rapport while in Indy with Peyton Manning, so expecting vintage Clark in his new digs would be unrealistic. Still, assuming his health, Clark could resurface as a second-tier fantasy option if he ends up clicking with Tampa Bay's Josh Freeman.

News: Clark visited the Buccaneers last week and they are expected to offer him a contract this week, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Impact: If the team does indeed sign Clark, incumbent Kellen Winslow would probably be dealt elsewhere, as the team has already expressed their desire to trade him. Clark might not be a lock to sign with the Buccaneers, but it's been a relatively tepid market, as the Patriots and Chiefs are the only other teams believed to have reached out to him. The Buccaneers remain the favorite to sign Clark because they would have the greatest need for him if Winslow is in fact traded.

News: Price missed the team's OTAs this week after being hospitalized for exhaustion and grief in the wake of his sister's death, ESPN.com reports.
Impact: Price, a starter last season in his second year with the Bucs after being drafted out of UCLA in the second round of the 2010 draft, was discharged Thursday after a three-day stay, agent Charles Price said. Hopefully Price will be OK long-term and can finally display the potential the team feels he has in 2012.

News: Clark visited the Patriots on Tuesday, NFL.com reports.
Impact: With Rob Gronkowski, Aaron Hernandez and Daniel Fells already on their roster, tight end is not a pressing need for the Patriots, so we'd imagine they were simply kicking the tires on Clark, with an eye toward having a book on him should something open up due to an injury. At this point, the market for Clark is cool, so despite the name recognition, he's off the fantasy grid for now.

News: Wright has signed with Tampa Bay.
Impact: Wright has played two seasons in the NFL over the past five years, both with the Jets. He has caught eight passes for 108 yards and no touchdowns in that time.

News: Barth has re-signed with the Bucs, Adam Shefter of ESPN.com reports.
Impact: Barth signed a four-year, $13.2 million contract with $4 million guaranteed. He has the fourth-best field goal percentage in the NFL over the last two seasons, but his fantasy impact was limited last season, as he scored a modest 101 points, a figure exceeded by 21 NFL kickers in 2011.

News: Unless the team makes another move, Bennett will most likely start at left defensive end in place of Da'Quan Bowers (Achilles') for much, if not all, of the 2012 season, the Tampa Bay Tribune reports.
Impact: Bennett started the first 10 games of the 2011 season. Before he was sidelined for the final six games by a foot injury, he recorded 39 tackles, four sacks – the second most on the team – and one forced fumble. Bennett won't put up electric fantasy numbers, but he is serviceable enough that others around him can play well in 2012.

News: Barth is planning on attending OTA's and possibly signing a long-term deal soon, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Impact: The Bucs' franchise designee has not signed his $2.645 million tender nor reached an agreement on a long-term deal yet. Barth set a franchise record by connecting on 26-of-28 field goal attempts last season (92.9 percent). He is believed to be seeking a long-term deal in excess of $3 million per year. He did not participate in the Bucs voluntary veteran minicamp prior to the NFL draft. Assuming the Bucs lock him up, Barth is a solid fantasy option due to his strong and accurate leg.

News: Martin missed OTAs Tuesday with a "slight" hamstring strain, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Impact: It is very early, but with the growing expectations surrounding Martin this season, the injury is worth noting. Many believe he may take over for LeGarrette Blount as the Bucs feature back. No timetable was given for his return, but expect Tampa Bay to exercise caution in treating Martin's hamstring.

News: Bowers has torn his right Achilles tendon during an offseason workout and will undergo surgery The second-year pro out of Clemson was a second-round pick in the 2011 draft. He started six of his 16 games as a rookie, finishing with 25 tackles.
Impact: Bowers was injured at the team's practice facility on Thursday.
