The evening of Feb. 25 was a busy night for the NHL's top pugilists, and this one was one of the better ones. Dallas Stars left wing Eric Nystrom (No. 24) and Nashville Predators right wing Brandon Yip squared off in the second period at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. The Predators won the game in OT, 5-4.

It's not Bruins-Canadiens, but the Kings and Ducks sure don't like each other. Add to that Anaheim's hot start and Los Angeles' early-season, post-championship slumber and everybody is looking to prove something on the ice. On the scoreboard on Feb. 25, the Kings prevailed 5-2 to end the Ducks' six-game winning streak. When a forehead is busted open, it's tough to top for the night's top fight honors. So Feb. 25's main event goes to Tye McGinn of the Philadelphia Flyers and Mike Brown of the Toronto Maple Leafs, and this first-period scrap in Philadelphia.

And while the Maple Leafs ultimately prevailed on the road 4-2, Philly's Tye McGinn ended this fight with a takedown of Mike Brown.

Certainly the Flyers' Zac Rinaldo (right) and the Lightning's B.J. Crombeen certainly had a doozie Tuesday night in Philadelphia. This blow that knocked Crombeen's helmet off was just one of many blows in the fight.

Before Rinaldo knocked Crombeen's helmet off, he landed this shot.

The fight wasn't all about Rinaldo pummeling Crombeen. While Rinaldo got in the best shots, Crombeen had Rinaldo reeling a bit, too.

In Tuesday night's game in Columbus, the Blue Jackets' Brandon Dubinsky (right) sent the Kings' Rob Scuderi (not pictured) into the boards. With Scuderi down, teammate Mike Richards (left) jumped in and fought Dubinsky, the two of them drawing nearly 40 minutes in penalties for the incident.
