Impact: On a night when neither Sidney Crosby nor Evgeni Malkin picked up a point, the often offensively maligned Staal led Pittsburgh to a Game 6 victory. Staal seems to match up well against the Red Wings, dating back to his third-period regular season hat trick in Detroit on Nov. 11. Staal won 57 percent of his faceoffs Tuesday night and led all Pittsburgh forwards with 27 shifts. The third line of Staal, Tyler Kennedy and Matt Cooke will be looked upon to come up big once again in Game 7 Friday night.
