News: Bishop (elbow) revealed that his elbow injury was a dislocation, but that he might have returned by Game 5 or 6, according to TSN's Darren Dreger. Impact: That's a moot point now any way, what with the Bolts headed to the golf course after a sweep by the Habs. But we can't help but think that a Game 5 return was seriously ambitious. He'll have plenty of time to recover over the summer.(RotoWire, )

News: Bishop (elbow) skated on his own for about 20 minutes on Monday, the Tampa Tribune reports. Impact: Bishop took some shots in the process, but the report adds that he is not available for Tuesday's game against Montreal. As a result, Anders Lindback will man the team's net Tuesday, with the Lightning down 3-0 to Montreal in their opening-round playoff series.(RotoWire, )

News: Bishop (elbow) faced shots during morning skate Friday for the first time in over a week, the Tampa Bay Times reports. Impact: Bishop has not played since April 8, and he took the ice Friday morning to work with goaltenders coach Frantz Jean. "He's progressing every day," Jean said. "The last three days have been extremely positive for him. The recuperation is going very well." While Bishop may be nearing a return, he will not be available Friday, meaning Anders Lindback is expected to man the net again.(RotoWire, )

News: Coach Jon Cooper indicated Thursday that he does not to expect to see Bishop (elbow) play "anytime soon," Damian Cristodero of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Impact: Cooper suggested that Bishop could return to action if the Lightning's current playoff series is extended, but it looks like Anders Lindback will remain in net Friday against the Canadiens, at minimum.(RotoWire, )

News: Bishop (elbow) was on the ice in full gear for 35 minutes Thursday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports. Impact: After watching backup Anders Lindback struggle in his place during Wednesday's playoff opener against the Canadiens, Bishop attempted to ramp up his activity but still appeared to be hurting. He wasn't able to face shots at Thursday's session, and at this point, looks doubtful at best to heal up in time for Game 2 on Friday.(RotoWire, )

News: Bishop (elbow) skated Tuesday, but not in full gear, reports the Tampa Bay Times. He is wearing a wire brace on his arm. Impact: The brace concerns us -- this injury could be more severe than first anticipated. Regardless, he will need a couple full practices before he can get back into game action, so it appears as though he'll be on the sideline for at least the first two games. The Bolts would not provide an update on the injury, though, so we're left to guess.(RotoWire, )

News: Bishop (elbow) will not be available for Game 1 of the Lightning's series with the Canadiens, beginning Wednesday. Impact: After failing to practice Tuesday, Bishop will cede at least the first start of the series to backup Anders Lindback. His availability for the remainder of the series is up in the air.(RotoWire, )

News: Bishop (elbow) was not at practice Tuesday, Erik Erlendsson of the Tampa Tribune reports. Impact: It's unclear when we might see Bishop back in action, so Anders Lindback is in line to continue to handle the Lightning's netminding duties as the team's playoff series against Montreal (which starts Wednesday) approaches.(RotoWire, )

News: Bishop is dealing with an elbow injury, according to the Tampa Bay Times. Impact: In any case, the Lightning's official site confirms that Bishop has been ruled out for the team's three remaining regular-season games. With regard to Bishop's availability for the postseason, coach Jon Cooper noted: "It's not impossible that he could play in the first round at some point. We're better off reevaluating this early next week and seeing where he's at." Meanwhile, as long as Bishop is out, Anders Lindback will serve as the team's top netminder.(RotoWire, )

News: Bishop (upper body) is not expected to play for the remainder of the regular season, Missy Zielinski of the team's official site reports. Impact: Though the Lightning (who close out their regular season slate Sunday) didn't present a timetable for the length Bishop's recovery, the report notes that he has not been ruled out for the start of the playoffs. With Bishop ailing, Anders Lindback is in line for added work in net for Tampa Bay down the stretch.(RotoWire, )
