News: Beauchemin has undergone successful reconstructive surgery on a ligament in his right knee, the Anaheim Ducks announced Monday. Impact: The defenseman hopes to return in time for the start of next season. Beauchemin, who turns 33 next month, played the past month with a torn ligament in his knee. He had surgery last Thursday, shortly after the Ducks were eliminated from the first round of the playoffs.
