News: Bryzgalov gave up five goals on 21 shots in Sunday's loss to Nashville. Impact: We wouldn't read too much into this poor outing, as the Wild were locked into their playoff position before the game and treated it more like a preseason game. Bryzgalov should be the Wild's primary goalie during the playoffs and get nearly every start. He's 7-1-3 with a 2.12 GAA and .910 save percentage as a starter since joining the Wild.(RotoWire, )

News: Bryzgalov stopped just 21 of 24 on Tuesday, but delivered a shootout win against the Bruins. Impact: The Wild clinched a playoff spot in the second intermission when Phoenix finished losing to Columbus, but adding a win to the mix certainly makes a psychological difference at minimum. Boston doesn't lose much, so despite the less-than-appetizing stat line, Bryzgalov's fantasy owners have to be thrilled with the win. But they shouldn't be surprised at this point -- he's come away victorious in five of his last six.(RotoWire, )

News: Bryzgalov is slated to start Tuesday's game against the Bruins, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports. Impact: Bryzgalov, who has recorded shutouts in his last two starts, has not allowed a goal in 142:15 worth of ice time, but he'll have his work cut out for him Tuesday against a Boston squad that is 16-1-2 over its last 19 outings.(RotoWire, )

News: Bryzgalov stopped all 24 shots he faced in a shutout win over the Jets on Monday. Impact: That's back-to-back shutouts for Bryzgalov. He also has four wins in his last five starts, and he hasn't let in more than two goals in any of those games.(RotoWire, )

News: Bryzgalov will start in goal Monday at Winnipeg, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Impact: It's also likely he'll start Tuesday, as it's not clear whether the Wild will give backup John Curry a start while Darcy Kuemper remains out with an upper-body injury.(RotoWire, )

News: Bryzgalov stopped all 20 shots he faced as the Minnesota Wild beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-0 on Saturday night. Impact: Bryzgalov posted his second shutout since being acquired by the Wild on March 4. He was steady throughout and made a pair of outstanding saves in the second period to keep the shutout intact. News: Bryzgalov stopped all 20 shots he faced in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Penguins. It was his second shutout since joining the Wild. Impact: There were a couple of real doozies in there to rob James Neal and Lee Stempniak. Bryz will be the man between the pipes for as long as Darcy Kuemper is out with injury. And he could be there much longer if he continues to brick things up like this. Roll him.(RotoWire, )

News: Bryzgalov will start in goal Saturday against the Penguins. Impact: With Darcy Kuemper (upper body) still ailing, the Wild will turn to Bryzgalov for a fourth consecutive start. Bryzgalov was stuck with a tough-luck loss Thursday against the Blackhawks, but he already has four wins since joining Minnesota.(RotoWire, )

News: Bryzgalov stopped 24 of 26 Thursday in Chicago, but took the loss in a shootout. Impact: Despite the losing result, Bryz has put together three solid games in a row for the Wild, offering some stability to their injury-ravaged goaltending corps.(RotoWire, )
Wed. Apr 2, 2014
News: Bryzgalov is slated to start Thursday against the Blackhawks, Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Impact: With Darcy Kuemper (upper-body) unavailable Thursday, Bryzgalov will make his third straight start for the Wild. He's exceeded expectations in his previous two turns with wins over the Coyotes and Kings, but his weak ratios over the past couple of seasons don't bode well for his chances of continuing his winning ways.(RotoWire, )
