News: Reimer was outstanding in Saturday's 1-0 loss to Ottawa. He made 36 saves and the only goal he surrendered came on the power play on a near perfect shot. Impact: It was nice to see him focused and energized between the pipes in what might be his last game in blue and white. He's a restricted free agent this offseason and there's no doubt he wants out. He may be traded before draft day.(RotoWire, )

News: Reimer will be in goal for the Maple Leafs on Saturday, Paul Hendrick of Leafs TV reports. Impact: Reimer is coming off a good start on Tuesday, giving up two goals on 33 shots. However, the team lost that game and was eliminated from the playoffs. Reimer will look to finish the season on a strong note in Ottawa on Saturday.(RotoWire, )

News: Drew MacIntyre, not Reimer, will get the start Thursday in Florida. Impact: It's more about rewarding MacIntyre for a strong AHL season than a condemnation of Reimer. But it's not lost on anyone that the Leafs have gone 10 consecutive games without a win with Reimer as the starter.(RotoWire, )

News: Reimer made a very fine 31 saves on 33 shots Tuesday against the Lightning, but was stuck with a loss. Impact: Unfortunately for Reimer and the Leafs, the loss eliminated them from playoff contention. One has to wonder whether the Leafs will overhaul their roster in the offseason after collapsing down the stretch this year; it seems possible that Reimer, a restricted free agent, could wear a different jersey next season.(RotoWire, )

News: Reimer is slated to start Tuesday's game against the Lightning, Jonas Siegel of TSN Radio 1050 reports. Impact: Reimer, who is 2-8-0 with a 4.27 GAA over his past 12 games, will try to help the Leafs get back on a winning track Tuesday. After all, the team's playoff hopes are amazingly still alive with three regular-season contests remaining.(RotoWire, )

News: Reimer made 37 saves in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Jets. Impact: He played well, but his mates were flat, particularly after the first period. He'll ride out the season as the Leafs' starter.(RotoWire, )

News: Reimer will start Saturday against the Jets, Jonas Siegel of TSN Radio 1050 reports. Impact: As expected, with regular starter Jonathan Bernier to miss at least three weeks with an MCL injury, Reimer will shoulder the load for the Leafs down the stretch as they try to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.(RotoWire, )
Fri. Apr 4, 2014
News: Reimer will assume the reins as starter now that Jonathan Bernier will be out of action for at least three weeks. Impact: Berner suffered an MCL injury (knee) and needs rest and rehab. This will be a test of Reimer's psyche more than his ability, as he has struggled with the mental side of the game. Still, you now own a goalie who'll get you a lot more starts and that can be gold at this time of the season. Wait a game before activating him -- we really want to see how he responds to the pressure.(RotoWire, )

News: Reimer relieved injured starter Jonathan Bernier in the third period of Thursday's game. He made 10 saves and allowed one goal. Impact: The goal allowed the Bruins to tie, but he ended up with the win in OT. Bernier has been sent for an MRI, so Optimus Reims is likely headed for the net the next time the Leafs play.(RotoWire, )
