| News: Sheppard will see increased ice time with the trade of Eric Belanger as he'll center a line with Owen Nolan and Chuck Kobasew, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Sheppard had nearly 16 minutes of ice time in Wednesday's win over Calgary, but didn't register a point or shot on goal.

Impact: Sheppard has been a frequent healthy scratch this season, but it looks like he'll get a chance now to play regularly. While he's been a disappointment this season, there's a chance he turns things around with the regular playing time. | |
