The Washington Capitals were able to jump four places in the power rankings thanks to the standout play of goaltender Braden Holtby.

The 21-year-old rookie posted a 4-0-0 record, 1.05 goals-against average, .965 save percentage and one shutout last week, helping the Caps move into second place overall in the Eastern Conference. Holtby stopped 110 of the 114 shots he faced, beginning with a 21-save performance in a 2-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning on March 7. He followed that win up with a perfect effort against the Oilers, notching his first career shutout by stopping everything thrown his way in a 5-0 win over Edmonton on March 9.

Holtby finished off the week by stopping 40 shots in a 2-1 win over Carolina on March 11 and making 27 saves two nights later in a 4-3 overtime victory over the Chicago Blackhawks.

How did your favorite squad do in Week 22? Read on to find out.

(Note: The Power Rankings will be based on a formula of points earned divided by the maximum amount of points possible [points/games played x 2]. In case of a tie, categories such as wins, goals against, goals for, power-play goals and power-play percentage will determine rankings.)

(.625) Boston opened up the month of March with two straight wins, but the club has since dropped four straight with three of those losses coming in Week 22. The Bruins power play — or lack of one — has been a huge part of the problem this month, as the B's only converted one of the 17 chances they were awarded in their first six games.

(.623) The Sharks may have only won one of their three games last week, but by losing two of the games via the shootout, the team was still able to skate away with four of the possible six points that were on the table. Ryane Clowe led the way for San Jose, picking up four goals and one assist in the three games.
