The Nashville goaltender backstopped his team to consecutive shootout victories, which included a 24-save performance -- with three in the shootout -- against the Blues that put an end to the losing.

On Monday, the Islanders fired head coach Scott Gordon and replaced him on an interim basis with minor league coach Jack Capuano, who was coaching New York's AHL affiliate, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. But this team needs more than a new bench boss.
