Crosby to carry Olympic torch in Nova Scotia
by Josh Yohe , Pittsburgh Tribune Review
"It's an unbelievable privilege," Crosby said. "And I'm excited to be able to do it in Nova Scotia. Everyone from Nova Scotia is proud to be from Nova Scotia."
Crosby will probably have to miss a practice while carrying the torch. The Penguins play the following day in Ottawa.
More than 12,000 people will carry the torch at some point on its journey to Vancouver for the Winter Olympics, which begin Feb. 12.
"It's a very exciting thing for me," Crosby said.
? Right wing Pascal Dupuis missed a second consecutive game due to illness. His status for tonight's game against Montreal is unknown. If Dupuis can't play, Chris Bourque is expected to take his spot on the second line with center Evgeni Malkin and left wing Ruslan Fedotenko.
? The Penguins worked extensively on their struggling power play during practice. As they did against New Jersey, defensemen Kris Letang and Alex Goligoski manned the points, while Crosby, Malkin and right wing Bill Guerin played up front.
? Penguins right wing Eric Godard will be uniform tonight against the team's former enforcer, Montreal right wing Georges Laraque. It's the first Godard will face Laraque since joining the Penguins .
