Scouts rank Storm high

Five members of the Guelph Storm are ranked by the National Hockey League's Central Scouting Bureau for June's NHL entry draft.

Leading the way is centre Peter Holland, who is ranked ninth among North American skaters.

Centre Michael Latta is ranked 42nd and winger Taylor Beck 50th.

Defenceman Ben Chiarot, who was not ranked in Central Scouting's initial list, is now rated 100th among North American skaters.

John Tavares is the top-ranked North American skater.

Storm draft pick Kyle Palmieri, who plays on the U.S. under-18 development team, is rated 19th.

Recently-acquired goaltender Brandon Foote is ranked 30th among North American goaltenders.

Top-ranked North American goaltender is the Saginaw Spirit's Edward Pasquale. Kitchener Rangers' property Brandon Maxwell, son of Guelph Storm assistant coach Brad Maxwell, is rated 11th.

The draft is to be held at Montreal's Bell Centre June 26-27.
