Giguere, a restricted free agent, made $900,000 last season and is seeking a significant raise on the heels of a spectacular playoff run that helped the Ducks advance to the Finals before losing to New Jersey. Giguere went 15-6 with a 1.62 goals-against average and five shutouts in the postseason and earned the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP, despite not winning the Stanley Cup.
During the regular season, Giguere posted a 34-22-6 mark with a 2.30 GAA and eight blankings.
