NHLPA: League rejects offer

The NHL has rejected the NHLPA's most recent offer, according to NHLPA executive director Donald Fehr.
After several hours of waiting for discussions to resume for a third straight day, the conversations didn't go well and had none of the momentum that existed Tuesday and Wednesday in New York.
NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly left the site of the negotiations and headed to the league's office with the NHLPA's offer.
After Daly left, Fehr addressed the media saying, "It looks like this is not going to be resolved in the immediate future."
Fehr said Daly informed another NHLPA leader, Steve Fehr, via voicemail, that there was no reason for the players to stay around for a meeting today or tomorrow.
