News: Gagne (concussion) was back at practice and a return to the Kings hasn't been ruled out, the Mercury News reports.
Impact: "Well, we're still playing, so he got an opportunity to practice with us," said coach Darryl Sutter. "You need lots of live ammo. Somebody asked (about Gagne's availability) a week or so ago, and there was no chance then, because he hadn't even skated with the team. All you do is improve your (chances). You go from zero to whatever." Gagne would seem like an unlikely insertion into the lineup given the Kings' run so far this postseason, but he could work his way back into the lineup if the Kings fall behind in the series or one of the regulars sustains an injury.

News: Quick made 38 saves in a 4-3 overtime win in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals to send the Kings to the Stanley Cup Finals.
Impact: Quick and the Kings are an unbelievable 8-0 on the road in the playoffs and are headed to the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time since 1993.

News: Quick stopped 18 of 19 shots Thursday against Phoenix to send the Kings to a 3-0 series lead in the Western Conference Finals.
Impact: Quick just continues to be one of the best goalies, if not the best goalie in the playoffs. You have to wonder how a long layoff will affect him and the rest of the Kings if they can finish off the Coyotes on Sunday; the Rangers and Devils are deadlocked 1-1 in the Eastern Conference Finals and it'd be no surprise if they went seven games.

News: Fraser (personal reasons) is unlikely to play in Thursday's Game 3, L.A. Kings Insider reports.
Impact: Fraser remains in Alberta with his family according to coach Darryl Sutter, making it unlikely that he'll be available Thursday.

News: Quick notched his second shutout of the playoffs Tuesday, blanking the Coyotes with 24 saves en route to a 4-0 win in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.
Impact: The Kings' incredible run (10-1) continued thanks in large part to their power play and goaltender. They'll look to take a commanding 3-0 lead as the series shifts to Los Angeles.

News: Carter picked up a hat trick in the Kings' 4-0 win in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals on Tuesday.
Impact: Carter's struggled at times this postseason as he came into play Tuesday with just four points in ten playoff games but the Kings now have a chance to put a stranglehold on the series as it heads back to Los Angeles.

News: Gagne, who has been out since he suffered a concussion on Dec. 26, has been cleared for contact, the LA Kings Insider reports.
Impact: That's good news, but the report also notes that Gagne remains a long way from playing, with a return to action in the playoffs still looking like a long shot.

News: Kopitar picked up an assist in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals and has now tallied a point in four straight games.
Impact: Kopitar has now registered a point in eight of the 10 games the Kings have played this postseason.

News: Brown notched the game-winning goal in Sunday's 4-2 win over Phoenix.
Impact: Brown has arguably been the Kings' best player this postseason and now has eight points in his last five games.

News: King picked up a pair of goals in the Kings' Game 1 win over the Coyotes on Sunday.
Impact: King now has three goals in his last three games but don't count on that kind of production going forward.
