Less than a week has passed since the 2014 recruiting classes was finalized, and Ohio State has picked up its third recruit for 2015.
He is the second Florida native to commit to Ohio State for 2015, joining Coca cornerback Jamel Dean, who committed in December.
Four-star running back Eric Glover-Williams was the first player to give his pledge for next year when he did so in August.
Last week head coach Urban Meyer wrapped up a 23-man class ranked No. 5 nationally by Scout.com, and he spoke extensively about getting contributions from some of the newcomers, especially on the defensive side of the ball.
So far, Meyer has gotten verbal commitments from players in 18 different stats since he was hired at Ohio State in late November 2011, but only three of those came from Florida, where he won two national championships as head coach of the Gators.
