'Well, it looks like Superman has found a home. I wish nothing but the best for Big Bynum. I hope he follows what was a great season last year with an even better one next year. I know LA is excited about the deal and rightfully so. The Lakers landed a piece that will hopefully carry the franchise long after I'm gone. I have spoken to Dwight Howard already and we are locked and loaded to bring back the title. Wow, what a summer Jimmy and Mitch have had so far. Unreal! I'm focused on our semifinal game vs Argentina but I had to pause for a few to send you my thoughts, in case you were curious.'

This is me with hockey great Alexander Ovechkin at Wimbledon stadium before the Federer vs. Del Potro match. The match ended up being the longest match in Olympic history. It was great shot after great shot. Federer kept his composure the entire match, never appearing rattled. Del Potro didn't give one inch. The match lasted almost 5 hours until Roger was finally able to break Del Potro and finish the match.

This is Jack Robinson. He played on the 1948 U.S basketball team during the London Olympics. He was brought in by Coach K to share some of his stories and thoughts on the games. He's 85 years old now but he’s still sharp as a whip. The only close game they had was against Argentina and they won by 2. The other games were all routes. He talked about being selected as the athlete to meet the King and the Queen and how "cool" that was for him.

He talked about how they arrived at the games by ship -- a 9 hour journey with no Dramamine! I would be done!!

Great win for us tonight! Much respect to Tunisia they played hard and competed. As a team we are hungry for the next game already. I enjoy being around these young fellas. They have great energy and it gives me even more motivation to keep up ;-)

What about Michael Phelps! 19 medals. 15 Golds. The amount of focus is beyond understanding. We should all embrace his Olympic Era because we truly have been witnessing history in the making.

It’s a day off for us tomorrow so I will be attending more Olympic competitions. Not sure which ones I will make it to yet but looking forward to being a fan again.

Well, today we get it on! This pic was taken at 9am London time. I'm getting some fresh air on my way to mass. It's amazing how quiet the city is and you can actually feel the streets waking up.

Holy doubleteam! Kobe met his match — literally — when he ran into American high jumper Erik Kynard at the opening ceremony. This photo taken by fellow Team USA hoopster Kevin Love shows Kobe and Erik could do some Punkin' in London.

I was at the Team USA training facility for practice and ran into Jenn and Rick Suhr. Jenn became the No. 1 women’s pole vaulter in the world last year. The amazing part about her story is that she played basketball until age 22, then began vaulting at the recommendation of Rick, her eventual husband. Only four years later she was in the Beijing Olympics and won the silver medal. She said her best advice is to have belief, persistence and faith.
