Gymastics, along with synchonized swimming, may be the only sports where athletes receive a make-under out of competition as gold-medalist McKayla Maroney shows.

To be honest, we don't see much difference between Paraguayan javelin thrower Leryn Franco's gameday look and her dressier self, except for some tape on her arm. We have a feeling she could wear a potato sack and turn heads.

She just missed a medal in the 100-meter hurdles competition, but Lolo Jones shows her mettle by wearing this backless white minidress.

When she's not jumping hurdles, scaling a high jump, throwing a shot put or javelin, Britain's Jessica Ennis dresses to impress. Royalty, perhaps?

We're not sure it matters what Canada's Lauren Sesselmann wears. Her eyes are her best accessory.
