A rising star on the beach volleyball circuit, Alison and veteran partner Emanuel are a bona fide threat to medal in London after a breakout 2011 in which the pair won FIVB Team of the Year and Tour Champion honors. Individually, Alison was named the FIVB’s Best Blocker, Best Hitter and Best Offensive Player in 2011.The pair won five titles, including the world championships, and captured the gold medal at the Pan Am Games. Alison has eight FIVB titles and 12 overall victories, having also won two FIVB titles with Harley in 2009, when the pair finished second in the points championship. His first partnering with Emanuel came in 2008, when the duo placed third in Gstaad. Alison made his professional beach volleyball debut in 2006 with Harley before also partnering with Bernardo in 2007 and most of 2008.
