CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Arndt will be making her fifth appearance at the Olympics looking for her third medal - and hoping this one is gold. She won bronze at the Atlanta Games back in 1996 in the individual pursuit and augmented that with a silver in the individual road race eight years later in Athens. The German cyclist will compete in the road race again this summer. Arndt won the 1997 world championship in track pursuit, the 2004 title in road race and comes into London after winning last season's time trial at the worlds. She also placed third in the 2011 national championship in the omnium.
