Man shot and killed during game

Police in Houston were searching Saturday for a gunman who shot and killed a man during a volleyball game.

Remembering the many athletes sports lost way too soon.

About 40 people were playing Friday night at a court near a grocery store, KTRK-TV reported.

Cesareo Herrera, 36, and another man got into a fight. The second man, who has not yet been identified, pulled out a gun and fatally shot Herrera, police said.

The gunman fled the scene. He has not yet been arrested.

Most of the witnesses to the shooting left the scene before police arrived, according to KTRK.
