The 105th edition of Major League Baseball's World Series continues with games 4-7 scheduled this week. And for the eighth straight year, the National League team will have its work cut out for it as the American League team will have home field advantage courtesy of their win in the All-Star game in July.
That didn't deter the Philadelphia Phillies in 2008 as they won their second championship in their history with a 4-3 victory over Tampa Bay in game 5. Philly once again will return to the playoffs as the National League East Champions and joins St. Louis, Los Angeles and Colorado in the National League playoffs. On the American League side, New York, Boston, Los Angeles and Minnesota will battle throughout the playoffs for the right to play in the World Series and perhaps call themselves this year's world champions.
