Leading off the week, the Nashville Predators head to San Jose to take on the Sharks. The Sharks have been one of the best regular season teams the last couple of years. Their problems have always been the playoffs where they have made earlier than planned exits.

The Predators had the opposite problem finishing just three points out of the playoffs in a very strong Western Conference. Next up is a battle between two playoff teams from last year in the Anaheim Ducks and New Jersey Devils. Closing out the week is an Atlantic Division showdown between the Devils and the defending Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburg Penguins.

The Devils and Pens finished 1-2 in their division and with young star's such as New Jersey's Zach Parise and the Pen's Evgeni Malkin and Sidney Crosby, both teams should be fighting it out again this year for the top spot in the Atlantic.
