As the original host of BEST DAMN SPORTS SHOW PERIOD, Chris Rose has kept the craziness organized, injecting professionalism and high journalistic standards to FSN's signature show.

Rose also serves as FSN's lead poker announcer, having called POKER AT THE PLAZA and the POKER SUPERSTARS INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT. He is also the host for FSN's informational poker series FULLTILTPOKER.NET PRESENTS: LEARN FROM THE PROS alongside analyst Howard Lederer.

Before taking on his role at BDSSP, Rose served as an anchor and reporter on FSN's NATIONAL SPORTS REPORT, covering such notable events as the 2000 and 2001 Players Championship, the 2000 and 2001 Masters, the 2000 British Open and the 2000 NCAA Final Four.

Prior to joining FSN, Rose was a sports anchor and reporter for CNN and CNN/SI for three years. He was a fixture on the anchor desk where he covered a wide array of events and stories for both networks.

Rose gained experience in broadcasting at every level all across the country. He was a local anchor and reporter for KRNV-TV in Reno, Nevada and also won an Emmy Award in 1994 while at WXIX-TV in Cincinnati, Ohio for a segment "Gridiron Gurus."

Chris Rose graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Journalism. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
