This is why MLB ratings suck...people can't watch the games they want to. Why black out 3 games at once? Pick one damn game and televise it nationally...this way everyone either sees the FOX game or at least can use pay service to see the one they want..otherwise every person in the US has 2 games thay cannot see no matter what they do

You blacked out games across America....ON THE FOURTH OF JULY. What if I don't want to watch Phillies/Mets? What if I want to utilize my expensive Extra Innings package to watch the Red Sox?? You'd think BASEBALL and Fox could get together and waive the "Fox Blackout" on America's birthday...you know, being the AMERICAN PASTIME and all. Shame on Bud Selig, and shame on Fox.

Why are you guys not switching back to the Cards-Royals game now that the rain delay is over & the game has started?? I am really upset. I live in the Memphis market and we aren't interested in Det-Mil!!

while I agree that the Yankees are a big draw, I would like to see some of the other teams in the league play. I personally don't need to see all 19 Yankees-Red Sox games and all 6 Yankees-Mets games. The real problem I have is that Fox shuts out all other teams so that fans have no choice about what to watch. They should allow MLB Extra Innings to show games on Saturdays! And the last time I checked, the games were blacked out on MLB.tv as well, although I have not seen the product this year. And when the Jays were on ESPN last week, I made sure to watch their coverage rather than Rogers Sportsnet, so I don't think Fox would see a decline in ratings by allowing Extra Innings to show all the games.

Hey RobertMiller211@hotmail.com, how does it feel to have no talent to play baseball? Hmmm...thought so. How does it feel for the Sox to win something like 8 or 9 in a row fron NYY and still only have a two game lead? Or what they thought about only finishing 6 games ahead of the NYY last year when the NYY had only one starting pitcher from opening day finish the season and without their true MVP, unsung hero Jorge Posada?

BMike1 said, "Get the Yankees off in Chicago,i'am sick of them and the Mets. I'd rather see Houston and Texas. When is Fox going to get it,that nobody cares about the Yankees and Mets, but Fox and New York.", but that couldn't be farther from the truth. The Yankees are still the game's biggest draw, followed by the Red Sox. Proof? Check out the attendance when these teams play ANYWHERE. If these two teams sell out Cleveland, Oakland, Tampa, etc they will continue to be on TV the most.

Regarding the blackout, can you get these other games through the MLB.TV?

Thanks again for monopolizing 3 games while only showing ANOTHER New York team on the West Coast.

Same thing here, wanted to watch the Indians and the Cards. Paid for Extra Innings only to find **** FOX carried the game. So that must mean either LA Dodgers, Yankees, Red Sox or Mets. Hey FOX you suck.

I am also upset with the blackouts on Staurday..I am a Toronto fan living in Cleveland, and because apparently Fox does not recognize Toronto as a MLB team, they are never on! Even when they were in first place over Foxs beloved Yanks and Sox, they still got no airtime. And I also have Extra Innings, only to get blacked out every Saturday..But I found a solution..if you have XM radio, you can listen to any MLB game that you want! And there is also a iphone app for MLB that streams game audio. It costs $10, but it is worth it, because I can now listen to the Jays-Marlins game anywhere I go!

Seriously! Just show the Yankees and be done with it. You monopolize two other games that TRUE baseball fans want to watch. I blame MLB more than FOX for allowing it.

I had to ask Derek what it was like to be swept by the Red Sox.

Yes don't you just hate when YOU paid alot of money to get MLB extra inning to watch all the Braves games on TV but YOU can never watch a Braves game on Saturday because of Fox. Like today we are getting the LA vs. Cubs in Texas and the Braves and Diamonback area is a lot closer then the Cubs area. Why can't you at fox just show all three games on the mlb package and let us the Fans pick which game we want to see.

If it was me I would just stop paying for MLB Extra Innings and forward my bill to FOX. If that's what FOX wants to do with Saturday baseball and keep THE ONE thing that keeps this sport alive, the fans themselves...HEAR THAT FOX...it is the FANS, not YOU that keeps this game going year after year. I would MUCH rather watch the Cubs and the White Sox on WGN or CSN or CSN+ anyway. And I'm lucky enough to live close enough to Chicago where I can get those broadcasts on my satellite, thus I do not pay for Extra Innings. BUT, if I lived in, say Wyoming, and paid for Extra Innings because I LOVE my Chicago teams and expected to see them on a Saturday (because I'm paying hard earned dollars every month to be able to do that) and instead, the only game on TV was the Giants-Mets game because of this silly blackout thing FOX has going on...Well, you could be SURE that my portion of the bill for Extra Innings would be forwarded to FOX so THEY could pay for that. Either that or DEMAND a refund because I'm NOT receiving what I've PAID for. Or, the other radical thing to do is have EVERYBODY that pays for Extra Innings cancel their subscription. It's false advertising, plain and simple. See how FAST things get done if EVERYBODY would cancel their subscription.
