COLLEGE BASKETBALL
FSN opens the weekend with No. 17 Xavier traveling to Arizona State in a men's hoops matchup on Saturday, December 15, but it's the women's doubleheader the following day that has the nation's attention.
In the opening game at 5 p.m. EST/2 p.m. PST, No. 5 Stanford and its double-threat scoring combo of Jayne Appel and Candice Wiggins, the fourth and fifth top scorers in the in the Pac-10 Conference, respectively, host a very tough Baylor squad. The Bears enter the week on a five-game winning streak and are led by a balanced scoring attack, featuring Jhasmin Player, Angela Tisdale and Danielle Wilson, all among the Big 12 leaders in points per game.
Then at 7 p.m. EST/4 p.m. PST, No. 19 Ohio State travels west to take on Washington. If the Huskies are going to have any chance at pulling off the upset, they are going to have to find a way to stop Jantel Lavender, the Buckeyes star who is leading the Big Ten in rebounding and is the fourth leading scorer in the conference. One of only two players in the Big Ten averaging a double-double, Lavender has played a huge part of OSU's early season success.

Host Jay Glazer and analysts Eddie George, Jason Sehorn and Tim Brown separate the teams that have a real chance of hoisting the trophy on the last Sunday of the season New England, Dallas, Indianapolis, Green Bay from teams that are going to eek into the postseason and will be lucky to make it into late January.
The guys also look at which teams have the best shot of raising their play over the last three weeks of the season and making it to the playoffs and which teams are just destined for a higher draft pick.
Plus, George goes to the telestrator to break down LaDainian Tomlinson, version 2007 vs. Tomlinson, version 2006.
