Curt Menefee profiles the Giants 6'4", 257-pound running back, Brandon Jacobs.
BRADSHAW: ROMO BETTER COWBOY UP As a four-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback, FOX NFL SUNDAY co-host Terry Bradshaw knows the pressure facing both starting QBs for Sunday's NFC divisional matchups between the Giants/Cowboys. But even with the constant scrutiny and comparisons to his record-setting and Super Bowl-winning older brother Peyton that Eli Manning faces from the NY media, Bradshaw believes Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is the one who has to live up to the hype.
"The Cowboys are the No. 1 seed, have home field advantage and they've played poorly in their last few games so Romo has more pressure. They have definitely tapered off offensively towards the end of the season. Being the front runner is a lot of stress no matter what the players say," said Bradshaw. On the other side of the field, Bradshaw is concerned with the inconsistency looms with the Giants at quarterback position especially following last week's impressive playoff win in Tampa. "Eli teases us with great games and then he disappears."
JOHNSTON: BYE WEEK IS JUST WHAT THE DOCTORED ORDERED FOR PACKERS As a member of the Cowboys dynasty in the 90's, NFL on FOX game analyst Daryl Johnston knows how much a bye week can help a battered team heading into the playoffs and thinks the Packers 10 day lay off could be an important factor as they look towards another championship season. "Guys like Mark Tauscher, Will Blackmon and several others probably wouldn't have been able to play very effectively last week. Being able to rest those guys, letting everything heal becomes a huge benefit going into Saturday against the Seahawks," said Johnston.
